But after all, from where comes alcohol? What are the effects?

Alcohol, ethanol, may be produced by fermentation of sugar existing in vegetable products, fruits, stems and roots or produced by distillation.

The effects of alcohol are divided into two periods: one that stimulates and another that depresses. In the first period euphoria and disinhibition may occur. In the second moment occurs upsetting and psychomotor agitation, lack of motor coordination and sleep. The acute effects of alcohol consumption are felt in organs such as the liver, heart, blood vessels, stomach, intestines and pancreas.
